Quite a long time ago people used to just go to the local Garden Centre to buy a few plants and a bunch of flowers. Today, it is a shopping extravaganza. People travel for miles around to grab a bargain or something different. After an hour or two perusing, customers would maybe relax, unwind with a meal, beverage and cake.

During the summer of 2009, Spring Garden Centre had a change of management. They quickly realised that the kitchen facilities were inadequate and the way to develop their business was to increase their Catering capabilities. This should play a key part in their growth.

Working closely with Sylvester Keal Catering, Metshine Engineering helped provide the solution; A full refurbishment with an extended building, including a Walk-in Chiller & Freezer, Stainless-Steel Wall Cladding, Canopies with Baffle Filters, Extraction/Ventilation, Dishwasher area and Pre-prep area. We also provided Catering Equipment including a Combi Oven, Fryers, Grilles and Stainless-Steel Tables.

The finished Kitchen is of the highest quality, passing all of the Hygiene & Safety Standards. Metshine Engineering were very proud of the final result and were pleased to be part of the project. The management were exceptionally pleased with the result, and we would like to wish them every success in the future.
